The Aventure.2 comes as a Class II ebike out of the box, with pedal assist and throttle up to 20 MPH. It can be unlocked for a Class III ebike and can go up to 28 MPH with pedal assist. The Aventure.2 also works with the throttle disconnected and removed, should you wish to ride in an area where throttles are prohibited. Aventon ebikes are built to the IPX4 standard for water resistance. IPX4 means your bike can withstand water splashes from any direction. This means that it is okay to ride your ebike in light rain. It will not be damaged by splashing water from a wet road or raindrops. Your ebike is not intended to be exposed to prolonged rain or submerged or subjected to a pressurized spray. Do not use a pressure washer or sprayer to clean your ebike. * Use PAS 1 on flat terrain with a rider weight of 160 lb.
